About the role
This role is based in our Money Matters Team, which offers help, advice and support to individuals with welfare benefits, debt advice and income maximisation. Our advisers work using a person-centred approach, across a variety of locations including Foodbanks and Community Lounges, as well as visiting people in their own homes where needed.

Due to increased funding, we are looking to expand our team to enable us to support more people in our local community with welfare benefits advice.

We are looking for an experienced, professional and caring Welfare Rights Adviser with a proven track record of working with people struggling with multiple vulnerabilities and challenges, who is passionate about tackling poverty and inequality.

This role combines attending drop-ins to give one-off advice, and ongoing casework to help people to navigate the complex welfare benefits system, offering support through the whole process.
