Come and join a friendly and supportive team and be part of helping people gain access to justice. We are looking for an Access to Legal Services Adviser to provide a specialist telephone and face-to-face triage service to Legal Centre clients and other administrative support.

Good communication, organisational and team working skills essential.

The post is 21 hours a week for a fixed term period of 6 months.

Mary Ward Legal Centre has been providing advice for over 100 years. We are a specialist legal advice centre that offers free legal advice pan-London. We believe everyone should have access to advice to be able to enforce their legal rights. You will be joining the Access to Legal Services Team, who play a crucial role within the Legal Centre, handling all initial enquiries and co-ordinating our pro bono service. You will learn, or expand your existing knowledge of, several areas of social welfare law, including housing, debt and welfare benefits. You will be trained and supported to help run our busy pro bono service. The Legal Centre is a very friendly and supportive workplace.
