Job description:

Community Law Service is a specialist advice provider based in Northamptonshire. The Service delivers free, independent and confidential advice and casework to the public in the fields of housing, welfare benefits, debt, fuel poverty and immigration. CLS is a member of AdviceUK, the East Midlands Immigration Network and the East Midlands Money Advice partnership.

HOUSING COURT DUTY WORKER
Salary: CIRCA £27,300 per annum dependent on experience
35 hours a week (Monday to Friday)

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Housing Adviser to join our expert Housing Advice Team, providing a weekly court duty service at 2 county courts in respect of housing possession hearings (Milton Keynes and Peterborough). The service provides on the day advice and representation to individuals who are facing repossession.
This post also contributes to the Service’s Housing Team’s casework, undertaking a small number of housing advice appointments in the Northampton office.
